Fiery Habanero overhaul for new Air Max 2 Light

Turning up the heat on its Air Max 2 Light line, Nike has introduced spicy Habanero Red to its rotation.

This new colour-lift to the classic silhouette sees the tongue and side panels up-toned to this fiery hue. The red distinguishes against brilliant white leather overlays and Air Max sole unit and the striking black swoosh really makes it stand out.

Yet despite being such an classic silhouette, branding is the Habanero’s retro proposition. The grey heel emblem offers contrast while the teal moniker on the circular tongue badge is a perfect offset.

Debuting way back in 1994 as a successor to the OG, the Air Max 2 Light has been consistently revered for its form and vibrancy. Some 25 years on, this reworked addition aligns with the 90’s sportswear-driven trend.
